What can ATA|Suite be used for?
ATA|Suite performs multiple
tasks from test to analysis; including: data acquisition, test data
visualization, test data analysis, post-processing scripting,
methodology development, and test-analysis correlation of finite
element models.
3.
What industries is ATA|Suite applicable for?
VibraSuite products are currently used in the aerospace, automotive,
industrial, electronics, manufacturing, and consumer products
industries.
4.
What are the applications that make up ATA|Suite and what do they
do? PressMap, Rotate, IMAT, and Attune.
o
PressMap is a pressure data interpolator from a CFD model to an
I-deas® or NASTRAN FE model. PressMap takes data on discrete points
over the surface of a structure and maps this data onto an I-deas or
NASTRAN structural model. The geometry of the structural model is used
to determine how the interpolation of the data is to be performed.
o ROTATE, previously a Vold Solutions product, ROTATE
post-processes test data for high-precision extraction of harmonics,
orders, resonances and transients in complex operating data.
ROTATE’s unique diagnostic graphics and torsional vibration
de-coding algorithms are used daily by engineers ranging from rotating
machinery maintenance specialists, to gas turbine makers, and Formula
One and NASCAR racing teams.
o IMAT is a suite of utilities offered by ATA which
facilitates data sharing between MATLAB, analysis, and test. The IMAT
Toolbox provides a framework for easily importing FEA simulation data
and measured test data into the MATLAB environment to access its
versatile programming and mathematical strengths. With the IMAT
Toolbox, simulation data such as mode shapes, time histories, spectra,
and other functions can be viewed and manipulated in MATLAB with all of
the data attributes preserved. Test data support includes MTS and LMS
systems that store data in test universal file format. Functions
created in MATLAB can also be exported to the test and simulation data
formats. All IMAT family products are available in ATA|Suite.
o Attune is a stand-alone highly automated
test-analysis correlation and model updating software tool which
combines more than 25 years of experience in this field into a
user-friendly, flexible, MATLAB®-based toolkit. By automating the
correlation process and providing a suite of leading-edge optimization
tools, Attune provides the user with a powerful, efficient method of
generating accurate test-verified finite element models.
o More products will be added as they are developed
5.
How does token-based licensing work?
o The
token-based licensing for ATA|Suite is actually quite simple.
Each program uses a different number of tokens. When users purchase
ATA|Suite products, they purchase a certain number of tokens that
reside in a token pool. When a particular program is started, that
program checks out tokens. When the user exits the program, the tokens
are checked back into the pool.
o Assume a particular user purchases 5 tokens for
ATA|Suite products. The basic version of Rotate uses 4 tokens,
Attune uses 8 tokens, PressMap uses 2 tokens, and the basic version of
IMAT uses 1 token. That user can now run Rotate and IMAT concurrently.
The user cannot run Attune because there are not enough tokens
available, nor can the user run PressMap and Rotate concurrently
because there are not enough combined tokens to run both.
However, if 8 tokens are purchased, the user may choose to run Attune
or Rotate, Pressmap, and IMAT concurrently.
