What Is Attune?

Attune LogoAttune is a stand-alone highly automated test-analysis correlation and model updating software tool which combines more than 25 years of experience in this field into a user-friendly, flexible, MATLAB®-based toolkit. By automating the correlation process and providing a suite of leading edge optimization tools, Attune provides the user with a powerful, efficient method of generating accurate test-verified finite element models. Attune allows users to:

  • Carry out correlation and model updating through a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  • Correlate test and analysis data based on modally reduced matrices.
  • Simultaneously optimize the design of multiple configurations.
  • Correlate frequency, cross-orthogonality, and MAC.
  • Correlate frequencies without the associated shape data.
  • Use advanced history tracking to investigate the design space and reevaluate designs based on new criteria.
  • Export ready-to-run updated NASTRAN bulk data and ABAQUS input decks of optimized analysis models

Please note: the Attune 1.x series is no longer supported. Please use Attune 2.0 instead.

Where Can I Get Attune 1.x?
If you are an existing Attune 1.2.1 or 1.1.5 customer, you can download the Attune package by clicking on the appropriate link below.

Attune for MATLAB 7.2 or Higher  Attune v1.2.1 for Windows NT/2000/XP Installation Instructions
 Attune v1.2.1 for Linux

Patch for 64-bit Windows  Attune v1.2.1 for Windows x64 Patch Installation Instructions

Attune for MATLAB 6.5x and 7.0x  Attune v1.1.5 for Windows NT/2000/XP Installation Instructions
 Attune v1.1.5 for Linux

Attune 1.2.1 users using MATLAB on windows 64 bit machines:
If you geth the error message,

Error message : " ...undefined file or function attune_lic "

(ii) reference to non-existent field 'table'
then you need to install the patch, listed in the downloads beneath the Attune 1.2.1 installer.
Copy the attune_lic.mexw64 file into the folder where attune was installed. (This is usually in the matlab root toolbox/attune_v121/ folder.) There should be other files similar to attune_lic.mex* in the same folder. Replace all the other files (*.m, *.p, *.jar) in the Attune folder with the ones in the patch.

ATAServer for Attune
You will also need ATA's license server to run Attune. Visit the ATAServer page for downloads.

I'm a Current Attune Customer. How Do I Obtain a License?

If you are an existing Attune customer and are current on software maintenance, please follow the installation instructions and then email us here to request an updated permanent license.

  1. Download and install ATAServer following the installation directions. You can download and install Attune at this time as well.
  2. Run the hostid executable, which generates a file called hostid.txt containing the information we need to generate your license.
  3. Please email us the hostid.txt file to us, and we will generate an Attune license and e-mail it back.
  4. Put the license file in the ATAServer installation directory and restart the server. Details for this operation are found in the ATAServer documentation.

I'm NOT a Current Attune Customer. How Do I Obtain a 30-day Trial License?

We no longer support Attune 1.x, but you can get a 30-day trial of Attune 2.0 here.
